I've heard it is possible to link an Outlook 2000 Mailbox to an Access 2000 Table, can any body give me any clues as to how to do this? Thanks

Muzz :)

Hi Muzz, I have the same question, I see you worked it out, can you tell me how you did it.

Hi mjmurray,

all i did was go:

tools > get external data > link tables

at the bottom, where it says "Files of type" drop it down and choose "Outlook()" and then you should get a wizard pop up that asks you which Mail Boxes you want to use. Pretty simple really, once you know how.

The beauty of it is that it directly links the information of the exact information in the mailbox you choose into a table, so you can analyse all the most up-to-date information of it. You can also do this for the address book as well.

Hope this helps!

Muzz :)
