Outlook in background AND VBA

hi, i have this problem:
when the user save the record, i want send one e-mail from code(VBA).

I place in output box(outlook) one e-mail, but i do not make to force send/recive. It's possible?? Or it'is possible send one e-mail in backgruond in whatever way?
Have you got any idea??
