There is a secretary here who is setup to receive her boss' email. When she prints the standard "memo" form it has HER name on the top of the page in bold letters. Her boss wants HIS name or nothing printed at the top, not hers. I know the form grabs the "display name" from the MS Exchange server, however I can't see the field anywhere in the form designer. I tried to design a new form, or change the standard but I am no having any luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gerry

I couldn't get rid of it completely, but I did effectively remove it....

On the Secretary's PC, go to File, Page Setup, Define Print Styles.

Choose the Memo style, and click Copy.

Give it some kind of meaningful name, like Boss Memo, and then click on the font button to the right of Title. Type 1 in the font size box and change the Font style to Regular.

Now go to the Header/Footer tab, change the font for the Header to something like 12 pt Tahoma Bold, and then type "From the Desk of John Boss" in the center header box.

Click OK and Close, and now she will have a third print style, in addition to the Table and Memo styles she had before.

She will be able to print her mail just as always, but when she prints the Boss' stuff, she just chooses that style in the print dialog.

This won't completely eliminate her name, but it will print it in letters 1/72 of an inch high. Most laser printers will not even try to print something that small, but if it does, it'll just look like a couple of very small dots to anyone not using a microscope....

Good Luck!

Thanks for your response. It worked like a charm...for a while. Ran into a problem where the EMAIL would preview fine with the Boss' name, then when I go to print, it reverts back to the original display name at the top of the page. It did work originally I think I am confused or maybe Outlook is confused. The idea was a great one, we were all estatic here..again I will keep trying.

Thanks,

Gerry
