When you assign permissions to a delegate, is there any way of adding them to your folder list? When I do it this way I don't have permission, when I do "File">"open">"other users folder" I do have permission.

I want my users to be able to use the folders panel as it's more convenient can't you do this when you delegate?

Thanks

The user needs to delegate permission at the mailbox level to allow a delegate to open it as an additional mailbox and for it to appear in the folder list. Visible folders depend on what permissions have been granted at the folder level (e.g. if they only need to see someone's calendar then they will need to have permissions to view this folder as well as the mailbox).

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks, I never thought of that! It's a shame the permissions don't filter down, setting the properties on "Outlook Today" should give entire access but it doesn't. You have to add in each folder :( - bit of a pain considering they have loads of folders outside of the inbox...I know you can do it via active directory but I want to avoid this.

Thanks again
