Had a issue w/ OutLook Express. Upon checking mail (which it does successfully) the window stating so stays open. Irritatingly enough, the user must click "Hide" to clear the window.

I looked through the settings under Tools->Options, Tools-> Accounts (Properties), as well as Internet Options in Control Panel. I didn't see anything dealing with such. I may have overlooked something. If anyone knows exactly where this is, please post. Thank you in advance for your time and patience.

P.S. I will be installing SP2 later when most users have gone home.

Best Regards, -md

Hey maddogtech did you get this resolved? I have 1 user who has the same problem and I have been beating myself over the head trying to figure it out.

Once the "hide" option has been established, the window should stay hidden all the time and the email checking status should reside in the bottom right hand corner of the window.
Is this not the case?
