Can someone please tell how,on the autoresponder in outlook
express you can change the subject field on a e-mail without
the autoresponder returning their suject field.thanks

Do you mean that you want to auto-respond to incoming messages with an entirely different message?

Create a mail rule - For all messages, reply with message.

Hi smah,thanks for reply but what I ment was,when a e-mail comes in with their subject in the subject box my autoresponder replys,but when it gets back to them it still
has their subject in the subject box with my text in the main body.So what I want to know is how can I put my subject
in the box.I am useing outlook epress 6.Thanks for your help

I meant to experiment with this at home last night (don't have OE at the office). In the mean time, could you confirm or deny that your 'autoresponder' is an OE mail rule set as I mentioned above - or is it something else?

After testing this, apparently that is the way OE behaves and I don't see any way to change it.
