At least that's how it appears. I'm running Office 2k Pro on an NT 4.0 machine connected to a Win2K Server. Everything was fine. Everything worked. Then don't mess with it, you say? NOOOOOOO. Of course not. Change is Good.
Evidently, Internet Explorer 6 dropped it's support for Netscape type plugins and so I downgraded IE6 to IE5. Now Outlook Express has taken over and I can't add Internet mail to Outlook. It works ok for inter-office email. I've uninstalled Office completely and reinstalled it. No go. I've got other machines running IE5 and Outlook works fine on them, so what gives? When I try to add Internet mail, I get a message that says, "That operation could not be performed. That operation could not be performed." No, I didn't stutter. The message is written twice in the same message box.
I've tried to uninstall Outlook Express, but it appears to be integral to IE 5? I think.
Any ideas?
