Outlook Express mail disappeared

One of our machine got switched off while reading mails. When the machine got restarted, nearly 4months mail vanished from Inbox. Whay is it so?

Any help appreciated.

Hello,

Run the pst file checker.

(location)/scanpst.exe

Or if your pst is 1GB in size, then it becomes corrupted automatically. A special fix is available from microsoft, which you have to ask for, it is not available publically.

I am using Outlook express....not Microsoft Outlook...
