Outlook Express has 1 email stuck in the outbox

I have a user who has 1 mail stuck in their outbox. Outlook tells me that the mapi spooler is already sending. It appears to have occured by replying to a mail that was recieved in. Now all mail can be sent as new mail but not using the reply option. I have uninstalled Outlook and it is still there upon re-installation. It looks like I'll have to un install again and try to clear the registry. Any ideas before I take this route.

I've been occasionally getting this problem too. usually i open the message and resend it.

My Outlook also freezes when I send E-Mails. After it sends it, it starts working again, but sometimes gives me the error:

Outlook failed to save the information to the pst file(which is on my z: network drive). You may have lost unsaved information.

Sometimes it keeps chugging, sometimes I have to reboot my computer to get access to the pst file.

It's happening on all the computers on the network.
