Outlook Express Errors

When I try to send mail, using Outlook Express, and error comes up. It says: An unknown error has occurred. Subject hi, Account: 'mail.idirect.com', Server: 'postoffice.idirect.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 Temporary local problem - please try later', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC6A
Does anyone have any suggestions?? thanks

Can you recieve mail?

I would think the account may not be set up correctly in outlook.
You will have two addresses to enter under Tools/accounts

double click account you are setting up, go the the servers tab, and make sure of the outgoing and incoming mails servers.

IN my case, using the addys you gave me, I would have to enter it as

pop3.idirect.com for incoming, and
smtp.idirect.com for outgoing.

this is assuming of course that idirect.com is the addys of the servers.

Assuming that your ISP is the iDirect satellite service, you may want to call them.
Apparently there is a problem with their mail server.
