Recently, outlook started giving me this error message, then it closes. I can use outlook express, but I can't sync my palm pilot with express. I've uninstalled outlook and re-installed it. Done a repair, no luck. MS is no help, and google searches didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks, but nothing there helps. Still generating the errors. Outlook Express still works great. Still looking.

At any particular time/function does it produce this error?

We recently had this bizzare behavior when doing a reply on HTML formatted messages but not on every reply. Sometimes it was when we did a copy and paste into an HTML message.

We really could not figure out what was causing it but it disappeared when we ended up taking a hotfix update. Below is the hotfixes we installed. Don't know if this is directly related to your issue but thought I would at least try.

The release of hotfixes 811493, 813489 and 816093 resolves the following vulnerabilities:
MS03-013: Buffer Overrun in Windows Kernel Message Handling could lead to Elevated Privileges
MS03-015: Cumulative Patch for Internet Explorer
MS03-011: Flaw in Microsoft VM Could Enable System Compromise

Thanks. To be honest, I haven't applied any patches for a while. Should have known better. I just didn't think about that. I'll run hfnetchk tomorrow.

(Running plain text, not html, and it happens at any time it want's. Running html causes a more serious risk of infection. Used Norton and don't have any virus'.)

Thanks again.
