Outlook.exe error

Can somebody please help me with this error. Most of time when I compose a new email and do a cut and paste to my new message, Outlook shuts down and the error comes up which says "OUTLOOK.EXE HAS GENERATED ERROR AND WILL BE CLOSED BY WINDOWS". Then, you have to re-do it again. We tried deleting the Profile and created a new one, reformatted the computer, disable all the add-ins and updated all the patches from the Microsoft Website but still keep on doing it. Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

By the way, we are using Microsoft Outlook 2000 and grabbing the email from Exchange Server 2000.

do you have any PDA software installed on that pc?? Also check the add-ins in outlook go to tools\options\other\advanced options\add-in manager ...let me know what you see
