Quick question:
I have an IMAP server for internet mail and an Exchange 2K server that I use for various other things.
In order for people to use the stuff on the exchange server, I have to "add" it as an account to Outlook.
Here's the problem: The Exchange server is not a real mail server. People should use the IMAP server 100% of the time. Sometimes, they will wind up sending out an email using thier exchange account - this causes the mail to go out, but no one can send back to the address because it's blocked @ the fwall.
Here's the question:
Can I keep the "exchange" account and all of it's features (mailbox, public folders) and NOT have it be an "account" that's available for sending mail?
Example: I'd have 2 mail accounts, one IMAP and one EXCHANGE - Is there a way to set it in Outlook (or exchange?) so that I CANNOT choose "Microsoft Exchange Server" as one of the "Accounts" when composing a new message?
Thanks.. I'm kinda new @ outlook / exchange and I haven't found a way to do this, without losing the features of having the exchange account "installed" on users outlook.
