Scenario: RUnning exchange 2000 on windows 2000 servers.
Clients running Office XP (outlook 2002).
I have a laptop, where outlook can run offline - and was hoping to use my mobile phone GPRS & bluetooth to vpn in occasionally if away from either a WiFi point or a wired lan. Unfortunatly my GPRS provider (orange, in the UK blocks port 1723, so no vpn.
In outlook..tools...email accounts...under the exchange connection, more settings..connection...there is an option to connect to exchange server when working offline. Can I specify a dial up conection (to the internet) and then have it connect to the server? If so, what ports / protocol does it you?
Many thanks.
