Each time I start MS Outlook, I get a message window saying:
C:\documents and settings\default\Application Data\Microsoft\Addins is not a valid Office addin.
This doesn't seem to hurt anything, but it is a nuisance and I have to close the little window every time.
Is there something I can do to stop this?
Thanks for your help.

Go into Tools then Options. On the options dialogue box click on the other tab and then on the Advanced options button. Here you will find an add-in manager button toward the bottom. In this add-in manager you can uncheck certain add-ins that could be causing the problem. Often an error can be caused by uninstalling something that outlook was using as an add-in.

Yeah, strange thing. Tools, options, other, advanced... when I click "Add In Manager", there is one item listed; "Net Folders"; it is unchecked. If I click "Com Addins" instead of "Add In Manager", I get the error message again, telling me that the path is not a valid addin, and when I close out the error message window, it shows that the path ...\addins is empty, but still a valid path.
