I am currently using MS Outlook 2000 and will soon be having my harddrive reformated. I want to backup all my current e-mails/folders, contacts, and even calendar info, but don't have a clue where they are now being stored.

Anybody who can help me?

(Also, I have the same issue with my Juno e-mail program.)

Thanks!

They're all in one outlook.pst file, whereas there used to be separate mailbox.pst and mailbox.pab files. The file is usually under a subdirectory of C:/Documents and Settings under your profile name.

When you restore to a new HD, make sure you remove the read-only setting that burning to a CD gives this file, or you won't be able to open it.

Thanks....I have (4) hard drives and only the main "programs" HD is going to be reformatted. If I just move this file to another HD and then back after the reformat, will that work? Or do I have to do some sort of export/import?

Also....do you know anything about Juno e-mails and contacts?
