Outlook crashes when an email is received with an attachment

Windows XP Compaq PC with Microsoft Office XP SP3 installed. Tried running in 'Safe Mode' which made no difference. Virus scan showed nothing and the system is not even a year old. Network guys tell me there is nothing wrong at the Exchange end.

Any ideas?

Turns out user had simleys installed and was crashing Outlook!
