Hi,

Our server is running NT 4.0
When i logged in (from my computer) and start Outlook it's asking me again for my password.
Is this normal, maybe a stupid question but i'm new to this.

Thanks

Lode.

What is the machine you're logging in from running for an OS? Is it part of a domain, and if so, are you logging into the domain or into the local machine?

Exchange prompts for a username/password any time that you try to connect and it doesn't see that you've been authenticated to the domain. Marc Creviere

There is a security setting for outlook, if set to request it you will need to type your NT password in again BUT this security is a waste of time, all you do is open Control Panel - Mail and turn the authentication off.

You don't specify which email client you are running so I can't give a specific answer but its set in the Control Panel under Mail.
