My hard drive is going to be re-formatted next week, with all programs being re-installed and I want to save all my e-mails, calendar appointments, etc. I know where they are (outlook.pst). (I'm using Windows 2000 and MSOutlook 2002)

Questions:
1) How do I then restore the outlook.pst file? Just replace the new one with the old one?

2) Are my Address Book and Contact list in that same file? If not, where are they and how do I save/restore them?

Thanks!

yes, they should be in the same file.

you could replace the new with old but you may want to click file then import. also, it may help you to know that when you first open outlook it will ask you if you want to import then. good luck.
