Outlook 97 - url links open IE but do not go to the page

We are using Outlook 97 on Windows NT. Since upgrading to IE6 this issue happens. If you click on a url link in a received message it opens IE fine but cannot go to the page, it just times out eventually. If you click stop or wait for the time out and just go to the address bar and press enter it goes to the web site fine. Also, if you open IE first and then click on the link it will bring the site up fine in IE. Newer versions of Outlook do not have the problem but we will not be upgrading for several months still.

Thanks for the info. I had found that article this morning and was hopeful but I tried the registrations and checked the registry entries with no change in outcome.

Still looking so welcome any other ideas.
