I've been asked by an associate to research a problem a client is having with Outlook 97. Here are the details:
Outlook 97 running on NT4.0 (unsure which SP). There is a message stuck in the Outbox, cannot be sent or deleted. When Outlook attempts a "Send & Receive", a Dr Watson error is generated regarding MAPI32.DLL (or MAPI32.EXE?). My associate says that the MS Knowledge Base has a fix (Inbox Repair Wizard??) that corrected this problem on a Win95 PC and on a Win98 PC, however it did not correct the problem on the NT4.0 PC. Outlook is not connecting to an Exchange Server... Internet E-mail only.
We are in a bind and need to resolve this as quickly as possible. I will be continuing web searches as I eagerly await responses
Thanks a lot for any & all help!
