Outlook 2k inbox issue

I have Outlook 2000configured to access Exchange Server 5.5 and everything works correctly. The issue I have is that when a new message comes in, it doesn't automatically update the list of messages. I need either to select another folder and then the inbox or select another message in the list and press the up or down cursor before the new one will appear in the list.

Any ideas?
