I have a user who repeatedly types the same information over and over into new tasks. She creates the task, types in the first entry and then saves and closes it. She makes 20 tasks a day. We want to automate her first entry into the task since it is the same for each task.

I looked at maybe adding a macro and having here select that to do the typing for her, but VB is not my thing or if anyone knows how to do a one key stroke shortcut for inputting her information??

Any help is appreciated in advance.

Have you tried copy and paste? Ctrl-C then Ctrl-V is very fast for just 20 times.

Does the task recur every day? Cause there is also the recurrence which you can set.

Not too sure if this helps

User wants something simplier than copy/paste quick keys. She doesn't make the tasks one after the other, it is throughout the day.

I am going to try to write a Macro...but we will see..

Thanks for the effort,

Linda K.
