When replying to an email which had an attachment, how do you configure Outlook 2003 to include the orginal attachment? for some reason, this seems to be missing.

As the person you are replying to was the one who sent you the attachment, my guess is they wouldn't need the original back as they most likely still have a copy.
If you edit the attachment, you'd need to Save As... and attach this "new" file to your reply.

Go to tools, Options and under the Preferences tab, select E-mail options. In the "On Replies and Forwards" section, select "Attach original message".

But be warned, this makes the original message an attachment as opposed to including the original message text in the reply. If you ever get one of those messages where you have to click on the attachments to get down to an original that is many levels deep, it is a PITA. Also, it is an all or nothing - once you change it, it is that way for all replies. One thing I miss about GroupWise is you could change this for one particular reply fairly easily.
