Outlook 2003 nothing in outbox but still trying to send

I received an email which requested a receipt. I sent the receipt but it won't send because the account it is using can't send via the ISP I am connecting to the internet with.

So I want to delete that receipt to stop Outlook from attempting to send it whenever I send/receive but it isn't in my Outbox!

I haven't got any filters on or anything and I'm at a loss as to where this receipt is. I have outlook automatically sending and it's really annoying me that I keep getting an error saying it can't end this receipt.

any ideas?

Temp. change the account so it can send and then put it back.
And for the future, turn OFF all returns to delivery receipts, it is a pain, which is also used by spammers.

It will not show up in your Oubox, that is why you don't see it.
