Outlook 2003 Language ID and spell check

I am creating emails in both English and French, and I wish to run a macro from the toolbar (one for English and one for French), which changes the LanguageID of the document and runs a spell check.

Is there a way to change the LanguageID and initiate a spell check in VBA without using Microsoft Word as the editor?

(Outlook 2003)

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
