Hi guys,

I was asked to remove and re-install Office 2000 Premium from C: to D: to free up the space in C: . Originally, the outlook 2003 was installed separately on the same machine. I thought remove and re-install the office 2000 won't affect on outlook 2003, but I guess I was wrong. When my boss open his outlook, it went back to outlook 2000 instead of outlook 2003 he used to use. Since I did not remove outlook 2003 from add/remove program, is there any ways to set the outlook back to 2003. PS. He couldn't find the CD.

Thanks

See if the shortcut he's using got changed to Outlook 2000 from Outlook 2003. If it's a certain shortcut he's using, that's an easy fix: just change the shortcut to point to Outlook 2003 again. 2003 is Office 11.
To fix the shortcut:
[ol]
[li]right-click on the short-cut, choose properties[/li]
[li]On the "Shortcut" tab, click "find target"[/li]
[li]browse to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 11\Outlook.exe[/li]
[li]Then "Ok" you're way out of all the prompts, and it should be fixed. I'd test it to be sure.[/li]
[/ol]
