We've a 2003 server, with Exchange 2003 and windows 2000 pro & outlook 2003 at the clients. We use one mandatory profile for all users. So I want to use the option %UserName% in the outlook settings to connect to the Exchange server.

It doesn't work! It says; the name is unknown.
If i type the username it connects, so the server is connecting, just outlook doesn't seem to have a value for the variabel %username%.

I've read something like: The problem is the interactive logon, don't remember last user. Set this in the GPO.

We've set it up in the GPO, but I can't vind it at the clients.

Is this causing the problem?
Does anybody have a (vb)script or something to workaround this problem.
Thanks in advance, Michael
