Outlook 2003 downloads messages 3 times

Help...
When using outlook 2003 for a netregistry account, all my messages are download 3 times. However when i use Thunderbird or another email client all messages are only downloaded once.

Does it help to increase the timeout settings of Outlook? Are there any add-ons for Outlook that don't apply to Thunderbird - antispam or antivirus applications that integrate with Outlook?

Are you sure you only have one instance of the particular email account setup in Outlook? You can setup as many accounts as you want (I'm sure there may be a limit, but I am unaware of what that is).
