Hi,
Not sure whether this is an Outlook/Exchange issue or a Cisco VPN issue.
In our office we have a Windows 2000 server running Exchange 2003 Enterprise, all of our clients run WinXp and Outlook 2003. In the office all clients can connect happily with Exchange and send and recieve mail.
We also have a Cisco VPN Concentrator 3005 which provides a VPN tunnel to clients who have either a Cisco VPN Software client which they run when they have connected to broadband or a hardware VPN solution provided by a Cisco 837 router.
When our clients are connected via VPN Outlook states that it is "Disconnected". We can ping the Netbios name, the FQDN and IP address all with success. NSLOOKUP can also resolve the domain name and IP proving DNS is working OK but Outlook claims that it can't find the server.
Has anyone come across this before or can shed any light on this? If you need any more info don't hesitate to ask.
Regards
Mark
