I'm running w2k exchange and server with w2k pro / office xp clients.

My problem is that one has a pop account configured and wants to be able to send using this account. Often if one clicks the Accounts tab and selects the pop account to send the mail the default account still gets used - as this is the exchange account, when the user is on the road it does not send.

The outgoing smtp server is fine - I've tried quite a few I know work, it seems to specifically be the fact it's trying to send via the default account.

All service packs are upto date.....

Go into Tools, Accounts, highlight the non-default account, choose Properties and then on the General tab, make the reply address the non-default one. Apply and OK. Newposter

Many thanks - I'll try that....

No Joy - has anyone else seen this?
