Outlook 2002 Hangs When Opening Email Attach.

I am running Office XP Professional on a Windows 2000 (NTFS) computer. I also use Norton SystemWorks 2002 with Internet Security and various other programs. I just did a complete reformat and reinstall of my hard drive and software. At first, Outlook 2002 was working just fine. Now I can't open emails with attachments. The program hangs. I can still navigate the computer and work in other programs, so it doesn't seem to be affecting the whole PC. I do not think it's related to security settings because they are set at standard and I know then attachments I am receiving are ok. I tried uninstalling an reinstalling, I did a repair and detect. I uninstalled Norton just in case that was the problem. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Thanks for the tip, but I already explored that issue. This is not a security issue regarding attachments. The email hangs with ANY attachment and never even opens. Any other thoughts?
