We've created several "signatures" in Outlook with graphics to include with our e-mail messages. They work great but don't show-up when the message is printed. Any ideas?
Thanks for your reply...
We're using Outlook 2000 to create, edit, and send e-mail msgs in HTML format. The msgs we send are received OK with the jpg graphic shown properly on the recipient's screen. But when printing the msg, no matter what printer, the graphic is not included.
What browser version do you have loaded? Try saving the message as an .htm message and then open it in IE and print it from there and see if it prints correctly.
It is not an Outlook issue but more than likely a browser issue since the HTML components Outlook uses are borrowed from the IE browser. joegz

Good suggestion...when the message is saved as an .htm file and then opened with any browser, the graphic is missing. So, it is not being saved entirely from Outlook.
Difficult to troubleshoot without seeing it first hand unfortunately. My only other suggestion would be to try using a stationary and perhaps you will have better luck.
I tested printing HTML signatures which had a graphic and it did print correctly on Outlook 2000 so I know it is possible but I am sure it is dependant on how the signature was created. joegz

I was looking for an answer to this problem myself.
I have not been able to print graphics included in HTML messages in Microsoft Outlook 2000.
The same email messages print fine in Eudora.
It does not matter which printer I use.
I have had this problem on 10 different computers.
It is Internet Mail, not Exchange, so these are individual local files.
There is no info about this anywhere from what I can tell. I find this amazing since I have seen it on SO many machines. If anyone has an answer please email me at dan@redbellsystems.com
It seems to be something Microsoft is aware of and has buried rather deep (it was extremely difficult for me to find this).
Apparently the problem is with upgrading to IE 5.5
I'm going to try going to IE 6, but I am quite certain I have tried that on some computers. I will then have to revert to IE 5 (if going backwards is even possible).
My current version of IE (6.0.2600.0000) doesn't fix the problem and I refuse to return to IE 5.0 just to fix a little printing problem.
In your previous message about Eudora, you said the graphic prints fine. For a test, I'm sending you a short msg with my problematic "Signature".
