Outlook 2000 rules wizard

Whenever we use rules wizard in Outlook to forward mail messages to an external mail account, the messages isnt forwarded. Yet, when I choose an internal mail account it is fine ? Is this an exchange setting that prevents this or something else, like me being dumb?

There is a setting on the Exchange server that can disable auto forwarding to any external e-mail address. Exceptions can also be listed in this setting. Check with your Exchange Administrator. joegz

Thanks, checked out the Exchange setting - works great, but couldnt find the exceptions list ?

This is how to do it on Exchange 2000 but I wasn't certain if this is what you were using
