Just for background info, Windows 2000 Server domain, Exchange 2000 w/SP3 and clients using Outlook 2000.

My question stems from a problem that a couple of my users is having. When they switch folders, and then go back to the inbox, most of the messages in their inbox disappear. Also, a couple times, there would appear to be like 1000 copies of a certain message and it would lock the scroll bar. If they close Outlook and reopen it, the problem goes away until a couple hours of use.

Has anyone seen this? If so, what did you do to correct the problem. They are virus free, and I was thinking about re-installing Outlook to see if that works. Could it be a corrupted Exchange profile? or mailbox?

I could be wrong but I would venture a guess that it is a memory problem on there machine. It does not sound like the issue is at the Exchange level. Did you already try rebuilding the profile? joegz

Well, I doubt it is a memory problem. We've got 200 of the same PCs on campus and they are the only two experiencing the problem.

All they really use is Office as well, so they shouldn't be using much in the resource department.
