Hello all,

My IS manager believes that mail has been deleting from our General managers sent items folder. I don't think this is possible and the only thing that could be doing this is the auto archive feature that Outlook has and creates the Archive.pst.

His mail is not set to deliver to a PST or anytthing like that. Up until a couple of weeks ago this users mailbox was un-limited and therefore about 650MB in size. The IS Manager finally listened to me and set a limit on his mailbox and personally setup a PST file to move the e-mails to. This is when he noticed the issue?? The machine is running Windows 98SE, Office 2000 on a Windows/Exchange 2000 network.

Your thoughts/comments on this would be appreciated.

Maybe there is an Outlook rule that is moving the email to a different location or automatically deleting it? Also do you have any spam application protection on your server? If so, perhaps the emails that he is sending are hitting a keyword that flags it to be deleted?
