My institution runs Microsoft Exchange for e-mail. We recently setup Outlook 2000 on a client's laptop, something we've done hundreds of times before with no problem. Initially, for some reason, her Outlook was running the internet connection wizard, which does us no good because it doesn't support exchange.
No problem, we went into the Tools menu and changes the e-mail support to Exchange and we were able to configure her e-mail account fine from then on. She is currently receiving and sending e-mail internally without a problem.
But whenever she tries to send a message to an outside e-mail address, the internet connection wizard pops up and tries to configure a POP3 or IMAP account for her.
No one else is having any difficulties sending e-mail to outside addresses right now.
Any ideas???
