Hi there,
I have a domain workstation PIII 866MHz, 128MB SDRAM, Windows NT 4.0 SP6a, Office 2000 SR1.
This is the reception computer here. The position has been a "revolving door", and each person who functions in the position needs the same resources. So this time around, I cloned the account and the profile of the former employee. In terms of operability, this approach worked fantastically, but I have a small issue with Outlook.
I removed the old mailbox and created a new mail account. Pointed Outlook to the account on the exchange server and everything works well, EXCEPT. I am able to receive mail, but unable to send mail from the account. I get an error saying "transport is not available". Everything looks perfect from the Exchange Server side. On the account side, I have tried making the profile local (vs roaming) but no effect.
Any ideas about what might be causing this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob
