hello,
i have a very weird situation, where i have a client who uses outlook 2000 that is connected to exchange 2000 and the wierdness is that if the client recieves an email this email will not be shown as recieved until he clicks on the Inbox or clicks on a different mailbox.

is the issue with the connection to the exchange server? i have done tests in that i have run ping from this client to the exchange and then tried to send an email to the client - the connection stayed open, but the email did not appear until we clicked on a different mailbox!

is this a known issue or something i have misconfigured?

thanks for any advice

khine

Synchronisation settings?

Sounds like it is set to "synchronise on exit" or something...

Check out your Offline & Send/Receive settings.
