Outlook 2000 deleting emails that are forwarded

We have a user that has no rules setup. Everytime they select an email from their inbox and forward to someone, it gets deleted from the inbox. They then have to go into sent items and move it back.

I can't see any options that can be changed to fix this or even allow this option in the first place.

Tools ->Options [Preferences tab]

Click on E-mail options, then on advanced e-mail options

Make sure that the box to "Save forwarded messages" (3rd box down) is checked.
