Outlook 2000 — 3 annoying problems

1. We use a custom form for IS system requests; submitted forms become Tasks. No matter what I try (or how often I search Microsloth's site), double-clicking a task pops up an error that "The custom form could not be opened <blah, blah, blah> Contact your administrator."; attempting to open the form pops one up about an OLE registration error & suggests I reinstall. The default form(s) that Outlook shifts to is worthless- no details, user names, or information of any sort.

2. After every system startup, the first message that triggers/launches the Spell Checker puts a non-functional icon on the taskbar (WinNT); the mail's been read/sent, no problem, but the only way to close the taskbar spawn is a) right-click the icon/button & select Minimize, then b) right-click again & select Close. Messages after this don't manifest the behavior.

3. Similar to #2, the first file operation (Save, Find [to attach], Save As, etc.) each morning has a hideously slow File Name drop-down (the control at the top of the various dialogs). It's at least 30 seconds to open the first time, versus near-instantaneous from then on.

I'm down to chalking all of this up to either 1) paranoia, or 2) Microsoft's sheer bloody-mindedness. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
