When my users log into the OWA they are not able to change their NT account password. My current config is a NT 4.0 server <PDC> running IIS & OWA which connects accross our WAN to an exchange server on another network. The users are all set to log on locally, but the only way for me to get around this issue is to tell NT not to expire their passwords which will be my last resort since this would compromise our security policies.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

In my experience (Exchange 5.5 and OWA on NT 4.0 and W2K), I have not been able to get around this limitation. I have tried to get all the features of the NT login dialog (change password, expiration notices, etc.) to work when OWA uses NT Authentication for the user authentication on the domain, but have found a way to get all those features. Since my users also authenticate on the domain in other ways/times, I have not searched the MS site very much for a solution. Good luck.

Ciscogeek,

Are you using SSL with OWA, I believe this is required to change your password.
