But internal mail is fine. For the past couple weeks every once in a while i notice the queue starts to get large (50-80 queues...normally we have around 20-35). I try to send an outside email to my outside account and it never gets there. I then send a message from my outside account to my business email account and it never gets here. I then go to the system manager, go to the virtual smtp server and click Stop. It takes about a minute to stop. I let it sit for about 30 seconds after it stops then i start it again. After about 1-2 minutes i click refresh on the queues and everything starts flowing again. i see the message queues going down. Anyway to find out if it is an email clogging up or something?
