Up to know I've always had our vendor setup anything outbound but wondering if you can help me understand so I can perhaps do it myself.
Setting up an IP trunk between two of our sites - we ideally want all outbound calls to go over this trunk as first choice but to default to our standard ISDN trunks if the IP trunk is full or out of service.
I've got the IP trunk and ISDN trunk setup, at the moment all users default over the ISDN trunk - where do I setup something to have the calls route over one and automatically default to the other.

This can get really complicated. Your outbound routing is called BARS. You basically set up a route, which you already have, assign trunks to the route, set up an RLI, and then point your NPA's, NXX's and SPN's to this RLI. If you have never done this before I'm afraid you are in over your head.

Thanks - after looking around for a while this morning, I came to the same conclusion.
I'm going to get the vendor in to look at it and hopefully pick something up from them.
Thanks again.
