outbound name on LD PRI trunk is mis-spelled!

Hello good folks of the forum!

The name showing on my outbound LD Trunk caller ID is mis-spelled! I contacted my LD carrier and they said that they only pass on the information from my PBX, my PBX vendor said that was true for the number but not the name.

Please advise - if this is changeable on my PBX can you please outline how to.

The switch doesn't send name, only number.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Thanks Ace, I found reference elsewhere on this site to the name needing to be changed in my LD carriers SS7 table? Do you know anything about this, does it sound correct to you?

The name is wrong in the ANI database. Contact your LOCAL carrier.

In Release 5.00 is is possible to send company name out on NI2 trunks for E.164 calls BTW.
