I'm trying to run a bat file in a dos window, but I get the following error:

C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
Out of environment space
Out of environment space
Out of environment space
.
.
.

I went into the properties of the window shortcut and set Initial environment from 3072 to 4096, but that didn't help. The HMA box is checked in the Extended (XMS) memory section of the Memory tab. The Total is set to Auto, but I also set to as high as it can go (16384). Still didn't help.

Any ideas????

Thanks.

Nevermind. I just deleted the shortcuts and recreated them and things worked ok
