out of 2008 lines

I'm adding three new 2008 phones to our system. When I run luvu on 2008 type's I have none left . I have 8 2616 tn's available. Can I build a 2008 phone on a 2616? Or is there a command to convert to a 2008? Also is there a command that tells me if there is empty card slots?

luvu, type 2000, that is the true picture, depending on your switch type you need any ava lic or tn's. just go to load 11, and you'll see ava soft tn's or lic in the header. the luc command works on opt 11's, i have never used it. a card that is plugged in and not programed will have a red light on the face plate. any digital tn can be a 2616, 2008, or 3900 series..

Simply put yes you can put a 2008 set on a 2616 TN. A digital port is a digital port. If you did like John said a LUVU type 2000 it would have shown the same TN's.
