I am doing a project monday and have too put in three OU's for the project. I put in the three OU's at home on my advanced server no problem but how do you tell if they are created at the root?
I figured if they were created through active directory they should be at root but the server books dont go into detail on creation at the root.

Too be honest, who cares?! :-)

It simply doesn't matter where it is/how it works. As long as it works, and you can administrate (is there an "e" on the end or not?) and you know how to add/delete/make sure they work, then who really cares?!?!?! ;-)

Good luck!!!!!!! Steve Hewitt

Thanks I assumed I had it right just wanted to check as this was my first shot at an OU in W2K.Have done them in NW4.11 assumed it was same. The project threw in the make sure it is done at root and was unsure with that wording.

do you mean the root of your domain, or the root of the forest ? Peter Van Eeckhoutte
