I want to output the contents of the "Add/Remove Programs" dialog in windows 2000, ideally with info about the program like version/size etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

hi

the contents of add/remove are stored in the registry in the path hkey_local_machine/software/microsoft/windows/current version/uninstall.

if some program is not uninstalled properly, it still shows in the add/remove even if it is not there. i find the entry in the key above and delete manually and it disappears. so u can try opening this key and printing it.

hope u know how to read registry values.

luv
Karthik.
