Oulook Express doubled emails

Win XP Home Edition SP2, OE 6 when receiving mails, all of them are doubled in Inbox.
Please any advice to sort out this inconvinient.
i repeat this is manifested only in Inbox section of OE.

Wrong forum, and SP2 is only out as Release Candidate 1.

It may be that your Inbox has some corruption. You will find it somewhere similar to this location (you will need to show Hidden Files and System Files).... C:\Documents and Settings\UsernameXXXX\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{51DBC191-00D3-425D-9C4C-4E26B65BD4E1}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Inbox.dbx. Back it up and then delete the original and let XP create it again to see if that fixes the problem.

Had this problem before. As far as I remember when you start outlook on the initial screen there is a check box that says something like "Automaticaly go to my inbox", if you uncheck this it should be ok.

Only works Tools-Options and uncheck "Send and receive on startup...."
Then I uncheck " Go in my Inbox directly"
in OE splash screen.
Now remain only how to remove OE splash screen without demaging previous settings i.e don't go back in earlier sutuation with doubled mails.
